Yeah, this place is great. What a contrast to the French joint across the street. The sound of the air compressors is a constant and comforting sound in the area. I once had a friend who owns a gas station stay over and when he woke up and heard that sound he said “I love that sound - the sound of money.” Also, if you look up on the Fillmore Place side of that building there’s a very old and cool sign for the street. A guy who runs Brooklyn Collectables once tried to get me to take it and give it to him. Yeah right!
