How do I start commenting?
Click on the place you want to comment on and submit a comment at the bottom of the page. You can access the places from the MAP, the PLACES page, or from the recent comments, places lists & search on the sidebar.

The place I want to comment on is not marked on the map… What do I do?
Go to SUBMIT and enter your place & comment. You can also upload a photo if you have one.

The place I want to comment on is not even on the map.
The map is infinitely drag-able, so all places can be included. I had to crop the map for practical purposes, and I tried to include the areas of Williamsburg where there are the most development today.

Can I include images in my comments?
Yes. You can embed images using flickr or other photo hosting sites (example:<img src=”http://farm1.static.flickr.com/mypic.jpg” align=”left” width=”400″ height=”300″ />). Please keep the maximum width to 400 pixels.

If that makes you queasy, don’t fret. You can email images to commentwburg [ATT] gmail {DOT} com or upload them on the SUBMIT page.

Can I include videos in my comments?
You can embed YouTube videos.  I am working on Blip videos.

I have a project/organization about Williamsburg, can I link it somewhere on this page?
Absolutely! Send the link to commentwburg [ATT] gmail {DOT} com, a one-sentence description and (if possible) an icon, and I will add it to the links page.
